From what I've learned on this site, hes a boyIs anyone able to tell me the sex of this EE? Should be 10 weeks old tomorrow. Thank you!
So the three row comb isn't a "sure thing?" I hope not, my little chickie is starting to show one (but no red)This one could go either way. Pink, three row comb, but still not really developed.
I can definitely see the difference, thanks for explaining thatIt's three rows, but they aren't clearly developed, still mostly flat. The comb is slightly pink, not bright pink yet. At 10 weeks, this might be a fast maturing hen that will start laying at 16 weeks. Or, it could be a slow developing cockerel.
A typical cockerel at 10 weeks will have a comb like this. You can see how 'puffed up' and developed the three rows are.
This a pullet at 12 weeks. Her comb is just starting to develop and is light pink.
