Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

I realize it is super early to know for sure but I'm having a hard time discerning this little one's fate. We are not allowed roosters in our city so I would hate for this little one to be a he. Any ideas? S/He is 3 weeks old as of Dec 7. No pink on the comb yet but shoulders are getting the ominous red tinge. -_- Please give me some good news so I can keep 'her'. ^_^

I also have to agree looks to be a cute little cockerel.......... I hope for your sake I'm wrong.......... a few weeks will tell for sure..........if them brown looking wings keep growing in it is definitely a boy,...... Kim

Update: 4 Weeks Old

Definite red on wings and white on chest is very splotchy. Not the best of combinations. So this little one is off to a good home today. Thanks to everyone who replied!

Craigslist helped me out this time. You can find beginner farmers or people looking to increase their flock number. I've posted fliers at the local feed feed stores before. I've also got some good friends that always ask around to find if anyone needs a rooster. Seems I always end up with one. -_- Hoping for a pullet this time but I've struck out 3 for 3 so far. You could also post here under the forums "Buy Sell Trade" section. Hope that helps and that you have better luck than me ^_^

Okay, much as I'm pretty good at sexing around 5 weeks, I would love to be able to start recognizing EE patterns earlier. Is this even possible? I've heard some talk about high contrast eyeliner decoration as being a cockerel trait, but I've seen some examples to the contrary. I'm discussing typical hatchery EE's, if that helps.

Below is a picture of some of my 2 week old birds. Any guesses yet?

And wanted to give an example on how to sex by very young chicks. Here are some chronological pictures:

His name was Mr. Muffs, but he ended up in the pot.
