Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Good Morning, I need some help with these 2 EE. They were born 4/15/15. I am pretty sure the first one is a cockerel and the second one is a pullet, but I had 2 last year that I thought one way and they turned out the other way. Thank you very much.

Fishmen- why do they not have tails? The first one is a brahma mix - I'm calling cockerel because typically pullets don't pink up until after 20 weeks. It also has loads of very pointy feathers around it's neck. This one won't follow the typical EE patterning. Could be a pullet- but I just don't think so. Post a picture of it standing by itself. Does it stand very erect?
Second seems to be a pullet - THere is something amiss though- the feathering is incomplete for both of them - they should be fully feathered all the way around and even wings are not complete. Sure they are 12 weeks?

They both are missing tail feathers. We were out of town for a little while and my mother was watching the birds. She would let them out during the day along with the hens we have and 2 of the older aggressive hens moved into the young birds pen and my mother did not notice when she locked them up and they did a number on the tail feathers of 6 of our young birds. So that is why the feathers are missing on the tail. They are almost 12 weeks they were born on tax day, I remember that. Thank you for the help and I will try to get a picture of the first one standing on its own, but he is pretty flighty and does not like to stand still.

@EmilyOfIndiana, all are pullets. :)

@torrelee, Yes, about 90% of the time EE's with straight combs lay brown eggs. It's hard to tell from the picture, does she have a single comb, or a single pea comb?

@Chickhum, Rocky and Minion are certainly roosters, I think all the others are pullets though.

@fishmanwill, Your guesses are correct, the top bird is a cockerel, and the second one is a pullet.

I tried to start my own thread asking about my EEs, but it didn't seem to work. Maybe I'll have better luck this route. Can anyone take a guess at the sex of these 12 week old chicks?
Rocky

Coco

Minion

Arizona (the colorful one in front)
Agree about Rocky and Minion being cockerels. Had to look twice at Arizona, which I think is a pullet. Comb is very small for 12 weeks, and although the red coloring is suspicious, it extends beyond the wing bows. She is very pretty. Hope I'm right about this one!

Chickhum, do you have any more pictures, particularly comb shots of Arizona? I've been looking closer and now I'm not so sure. Very interesting bird either way.

x2 a straight on comb shot with no glare would be helpful, how big do the legs look on Arizona? I would lean toward cockerel right now though.
