Your coop looks nice! Have you posted it on the coops page? Always room for more and people get a lot of good ideas from those built by others.

I am concerned about the chicken wire though. Have you had chickens before? If not you might be surprised to find out that chicken wire is good only for keeping poultry in/out of where you want them. Any canine would be through that wire in a few minutes and coons will reach through and rip the heads off chickens resting along the fence.

Also, the large tree behind the coop makes a perfect ladder for a fox or coon to get into the run. I have no idea how that could be stopped though I'm sure others do.

This is my first time having chickens but the only dog that would be around the pen is my own and he knows not to mess with it. For coon sake i lock them up in inside the coop at night time which is when most of the coons come out but i know not all of them. And the run and coop has a roof on it
