Cockerel.Im new here. Kids left home so got me some chickens. Could you tell my if this ee from the feed store,is a he/ she. I know the sex of all the others but not this one. I have been on this sight now for 3 months. Finally joined. Love readying the threads. Buy now you think I would know, but these red ones are really hard to sex.

Still a cockerel. Some boys just don't act like boys until after 5 months of age. Male hackle and saddle feathers should be starting to show within the next week or two.

Not sure on this one, comb is a pea but not as red as the above chick, not sure if those are little red patches coming in on the wings?
