Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Thanks for your reply... #2 is a mystery chick. We don't know the breed of it either. But unlike the EE it has a straight comb and feathered feet..... no signs of waddles yet... so we are hoping maybe the mystery bird is a she...

Best spot to watch is the unfeathered part of the wing. If it fills in patterned like the rest of the wing, it's most likely a female. But, if you see a red or white patch emerge instead, you have a cockerel.

I have two Easter Egger chicks that we got under a week old. They are five weeks old now. We were told they are both pullets but as always I worry that we have a roo. We aren't able to have roosters and we're all pretty attached at this point!

Cubby is a pullet. Abby could be a cockerel, but it is still too early to be sure.

What sex would my little (hopefully) lady, be then? She's stunning, I would be heartbroken to not be able to keep her :( They are 6 weeks old

I posted him on the other EE thread too but here is our current boy baby....he will go off to live at a friends house that wants a rooster....

Sorry, I know these aren't the best pictures, but these chicks are hard to keep still right now. Just wanted to see if anyone has an opinion on what the gender of these 2 are. I have 8 total, and I'm certain that at least 3-4 are Roos. Really hoping these 2 are Pullets.
