I change my guess to rooster. The profile pic shows that he DOES have a small red patch on his shoulder, in addition to the red on his lower wings. He'll be a handsome guy!

Yah, those patches just popped in within the last few days. Ah well, I think I shall keep him as long as he's not a butthead.
alright, I had this posted on another thread, I will post my pics here...I have 3 EE's, two are crossed with I believe a Polish, the last one not:
(notice this ones comb, single comb, but crooked...)
the third one was the one in question, till I heard "him" crow...I am going to keep most likely 2 of these, I have 13 pullets that need "supervision", I am also going to pick up maybe 3 more EE's from a local feed store this Thursday, any tips on selecting pullets, they are all supposed to be pullets...I already have enough roos, so any advice! And does everyone concur that pic #3 is a roo?
**I need to get some better body shots of the first 2, will try today..
Thinking hen but wanted to double check - I know it's really early for an EE. Also, is this coloring not very common?? I haven't seen many like this on the boards?

HAHAHAHA... ooops.. glad I didn't guess on that one
Someone DID offer to eat their hat.. hmmm. Maybe we can get that on youtube?
I'm not ready to eat it just yet.
Really, at that age if it was a rooster, wouldn't it be crowing? I have some little guys in the brooder that don't have their big boy britches yet and they're crowing.

Nah, my big boy cochin roo who crows all day now didn't crow until almost 6 months old. Looks like one of the others I posted in that first post is also looking roo-y, so I now have two EE roos. They'll be purty tho! None are crowing yet.
