OH Yeah.. FOR SURE a boy.. I don't know when they get spurs.. the longest I've kept a roo was about 14 weeks when he started crowing.. didn't have spurs then. I know you can remove spurs too if they are a problems

How about this one? This is "Boots" Her legs are thick, comb is a triple pea comb that is red, she is larger than my other two, although "she" is the same age. She leads the other two around and is way more dominant. I want to say rooster but I have read that her colors are more of a pullets colors. What do you think?

*EDITED TO SAY... his/her b-day is around July 3rd... so that makes him/her 2 months now. Thing is, he/she might not be as developed as he/she could be b/c of the scissor beak issue. I've been playing chicken god & feeding him/her with a syringe a few times a day. Food mixed w/ yogurt & / or egg.

hot darn, that last one is gorgeous, whatever it is.

I apologize in advance or posting a lot of pics, but this one is our fav so we wanna be sure.

I'm a novice & I posted HER pics previously & we all said "pullet"

She's had some recent developments & I wanted your opinions before I take her to the farm this afternoon....she's our favorite, so it won't be easy.

Thanks. I pretty much figured that. I did have a glimmer of hope though. I guess with easter eggers there are so many variables. Poor Boots has to find a new home.
We are going to miss him. I love his personality!

Can you all stand another? I'm afraid my little Extra Crispy is a boy, based mostly on the irridescence of the tail feathers. S/he is 10 or 11 weeks old

I sure hope s/he's a girl. The kids have already refused to eat her. LOL

Thanks,
Laurie
