Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

I heard the same, I don't know the guy that owns the store so can't really say if he is correct or not. We're just happy to have two happy chicks and we look forward to benefiting from the eggs they lay for us. Hoping we don't have roos but if we do we have a couple of places we can take them, so we are blessed.

I just took these of my EEs that are supposed to be pullets. They are 4 weeks Friday

liberty has more fuzz around the neck than the other

Little comb but i think still to young to tell

Bell looks like an owl chick

It will be fun to see how they look in a couple weeks. They are great little chicks and are very devoted to each other. Take care all!

Annie, what's that BYc saying? If there aren't pictures, it didn't happen? Pics please, I have egg envy!

My EE's hatched out of blue eggs, with pea combs and slate legs are both laying me brown eggs : ( I now have 6 fifteen week old EEs (sold to me at the feed store as Auracanas). Keeping my fingers crossed for blue eggs, or green, or pink....

Question: What are you guys using for the floor to your runs? I have dirt. They seem to love to wollor in it for their dust baths. But it really looks "dirty" and unkept all the time. Is that just the way with chickens or should I put down something else. I use the deep litter method in the coop area and that is working great.
