Yes odd colour for sure. They can change sooooo much it's hard to predict.Update! My favorite chick is showing some odd coloring! What the heck do you call that color?! They are growing so fast! It looks like most of em are gonna be black/blue except for my favorite which is getting black and white looking feathers. Any ideas on his/her color?❤

This looks like a fun project, and the little ones are adorable!
I'm not really sure about the color of a few of the chicks either. With the bit of patterning in the down of some of them I don't think I'd call it just leakage though.
Mom is an interesting color herself. She doesn't look like typical gold or silver based partridge silkies I've seen in the past.
I'm sorry I'm not much help but I know there are some real genetic experts in the Exhibition, Genetics, & Breeding to the SOP section of the forum that might be able to tell you more.
