Easter Egger?

As you can see, the 2 Americaunas I have are bearded and muffed. My three EE's are the same but much darker coloration. with a lot of black. These two are Wheaten and a Blue Wheaten. Some of the EE's I have seen lately, are "mutts" Whereas the coloring is different, and they favor a different breed of chicken. Yours have the coloring that reminds me of my Welsummers. BTW my Bearded Buff Polish ALSO have slate legs... I have had my own flock for 4 years and in the family my entire life of 58 years. Sooo EE's could be anything. Hopefully you get blue eggs! Some look good, but don't lay colored eggs. They have weakened the gene. Could lay brown or even white. Where did you get them? I ordered mine from either Cackle or Ideal. I had noticed that my first flock mainly came from McMurray, and I have had "problems" with the breeds. Cocked tails, flopped combs, shell less eggs, colors that were not supposed to be there, and too many roos instead of hens. Cackle and Ideal have been perfect every time.

I LOVE meeting the chicken "masters". When you tell someone what THEY have, make sure your answers are well researched. My Americauna pics are when they were 4 months old. They are now 2 years. You might want to check Brookside Farms pics of Americanas. They are right here on backyard chickens. Also the BLUE. BTW their beaks are greenish yellow. I checked with a breeder, I will not argue with someone over this. My family has been in the poultry business for almost 100 years. That is why I "hate" to comment on these forums...Too many know it alls! Good folks are just wanting some decent answers.

Go to this site if you want to know what Wheaten and Blue Wheaten hens look like.
