Here's a photo of two black giants at 6 weeks old. You can tell the rooster from the comb and wattles! You can actually tell earlier if you know what to look for but comb and wattles are the easiest for starters. I am not at all familiar will Silkies so I couldn't help you to look for a roo with them!
