I know nothing about chickens but am guessing white ones are boys and others are girls? They were supposedly Easter eggers & are 8 weeks old 😊 C7134075-3E69-433D-A844-DFED2B61F981.jpeg D42795B0-44AF-4EDD-BB51-8EF19143660E.jpeg 54235C61-E6A7-4DA4-8A15-FF8F1F39B216.jpeg 91CC8F87-67B5-4886-A3F4-CC5C5A478C74.jpeg 8F601992-8891-4785-8236-6D38A07618C1.jpeg

The white and black colored chickens do appear to be developing cockerels. None of them look like easter eggers to me because they don't have rose combs. And the one has a top knot or crest. I think they are very pretty mutts! :D

I agree, black and white are cockerels, other two are pullets. They are mixed, could be someone’s attempt at colourful egg layers, but there are no specifications for easter eggers, they’re not a pure breed.

The two white-ish ones are cockerels, other two pullets. They are still will likely lay colored eggs. Easter Egger is merely a term for a chicken laying blue or green eggs not any specific reference to a breed. Many people are familiar with Easter Eggers whose influence comes from Ameraucana genes and that usually means a pea comb, green legs, and the possibility of muffs and beard. That is not the only option though. Cream Legbars are now more frequently being used for pretty egg mixes and they lack the pea comb and other Ameraucana traits and instead have single combs and a crest. That is the breed that these appear to be derived from and is probably where the barring on two white cockerels is coming from along with the crests 😊
