Without seeing her face, I would say that one is most likely a pullet (young hen). Her feathers are rounded and even color pattern.

Yes, that little one is female! Very cute.

For future reference, a female chicken over 1 year of age is a hen. Under 1 year old, it's called a pullet. A male chicken over 1 year of age is a rooster. Under 1 year old, it's called a cockerel.
