Easter eggers

    I having trouble candleing my Easter eggers I have a candler I bought at tractor supply just don't seem see cause it so dark

    What day are you on? What are you seeing when you candle? I have found that if light is seeping out the bottom it's much more difficult to get an accurate view of what is going inside the egg.

    What day are you on? If it's within less than a week from hatching then not being able to see the embryo clearly is normal because it's taking up so much of the egg. If you're candling an egg less than that then make sure that the room you're in is almost completely dark and that there is little to no light escaping from the flashlight. Best Luck!

    I do not candle to day 18 I remove any that is not dark at this time. I can not see through the blue or brown that is why I do it at 18 days if I have a decent air sack and the rest is dark I lock them down and throw the others away that doesn't look good to me..
