I got my first blue egg today. Boy was I happy. My question is will she always lay a blue egg?

Only time will tell.

Somedays they look more blue than others. I've never had an EE consistently lay a blue egg. For us, a 'blue' egg is a rarity.

My eggs are shades of green with 2 pink girls. I can exactly who laid an egg by their shape and color. Lucky you!

I hope she always lays blue ones!!! I have 4 Ameraucana's that are 11 weeks old in hopes of blue eggs.

Someone asked for a picture of the blue egg. Here's one from our blue egg layer. Everyday we get 1 blue, 1 green and 1 pink. SO pretty! I put it next to a white egg so you could see the color.
