Easter Eggers

We bought “ameraucana” and “araucana” chicks ( they are plain old EEs ) but I’ve noticed a huge difference in size between the so called Ameraucana and Araucanas. We have these really big firey yellow “ameraucana” and then these little bitty “araucana” chicks, they are the same age - what breed could the so called araucana chicks be a mix off that is keeping them so small (pretty much the same size as my bantam frizzle) is there any way to guess ? Thanks !

Could it be possible that your "araucanas" are actually bantam EE's?

Almost looks as though some are bantams, and others are large fowl.

You're correct in assuming they're Easter Eggers rather than "Ameraucanas" or "Araucanas."

Hahaha - no, although slightly more than I’d like to have paid.... won’t be buying from them ever again !
