hey noitulover, i recognized you from ECC, you asked about my birds on there. i started with 18 blue hatching eggs that i got from a breeder and kept the best hens and the nicest rooster from raising thse chicks that i hatched. i have never got a pink or brown egg; only blue or green.

I have 2 only one lays a green mint colored egg (which i just boiled 1/2 doz and painted colored spots on for easter) A=anyway the other lays light brown colored.

We started out with a few EE hens and a rooster,

after hatching their eggs we now have 12 EE hens and a diferent rooster,

according to the Egg color chart, they give us a A14 to a C4 plus 2 pinkish color eggs

we get 8 to 11 eggs per day.

Love the different colors chicks that hatch
