I found a pair of dead bluebirds and its obvious the cats killed them, the issue is this pair had 4 nestlings and I dont want them to starve. There arent any wildlife centers close to where I live. Does anyone know what I can feed them, or general care for them.

Just so you are aware, your thread is going to be closed due to the Migratory Bird Act. The act means it is illegal to keep any native birds without a special license

A Google search for it says "The parents bring crickets, spiders, grasshoppers, butterflies, and moth larvae, as well as berries such as raspberry, mulberry, dogwood, cherry, and honeysuckle. The diet of nestling bluebirds is high in protein, consisting of approximately 68% invertebrates and 32% berries.".

They can be fed mealworms, chopped berries (fresh, frozen) crickets, and unsalted/treated nuts/seeds. Be warned, they need to be fed hourly for three weeks.

So I contacted a wildlife center and we will try to meet hal

so I contacted a wildlife Center that is 2 hours away from us so we will meet the transporter half way

Awesome. It is illegal to do it yourself, so it's a shame that there aren't more wildlife rescues, but I can understand why - we want to get certified when we move farms, but did you know it's all on your own? There's next to no state funding or anything, it is volunteer and out-of-pocket and a lot of regs.

Make sure that you wet the food down a bit. Like, dip a cricket in water, then feed it. Dehydration kills more songbird babies than starving.

Yeah we have a mealworm farm and they instructed us to pour boiling water over them then let them cool down and cut them into bite sized pieces then use the tweezers like their mothers beak

Also no I didn't know that. I'm only 15 right now but I would love to have a rescue whether it be with wild or domestic animals

How did you make out with the baby Bluebirds? Were you able to get them to the rescue? I love Bluebirds. We've had them nesting in our yard since 2013. This year we are on our second bluebird couple. The first fledged over memorial weekend. And the second couple showed up two weeks ago. I was so excited. I love hearing their song & seeing them around the yard. I was so sad to read that a cat got the parents.

Yeah they made it to the wildlife center, rockfish wildlife center to be exact and I haven't seen any updates on the Facebook page but I've heard they have excellent success rates with song birds so 🤞
