Easy-to-grow chicken forage?

I'm looking for ideas for things I could seed in between my squash and tomatoes in the garden. I was thinking of lamb's quarters, malabar spinach, maybe chard?? Any other ideas? I only want annuals for now. Thanks!

Any fast growing easy to grow green will do. In the cool season I like mustards, turnips, collards, kale, rape, and that sort of thing.

Thanks! I took a look at the site I usually order seed from, and saw amaranth and asparadus pea, which looked promising. I was also wondering about ground cherries. I've grown tomatillos before and they're easy and productive, but they sprawl more...

Is amaranth OK? I seem to remember that it's related to pigweed and I think I read somewher that pigweed is toxic to chickens?
