In the coop in Tennessee
We have found a great way to get the shell off of fresh layed eggs. I just ran across the idea one day when I boiled our eggs. I didn't have time to shell them because they take forever and don't even look like a egg when you try to peel fresh eggs.
So boil your eggs as normal. I typically boil mine for 20 minutes because we have large egg layers. They after boiling I put in sink let set in cold water for about 10-15 minutes then put them in the styrofoam egg carton and back into fridge until later that day or the next day works the best. Then tap them on counter and shell peels right off. Our family loves deviled eggs. I usually cook 2 dz at a time. I too deviled eggs with jalapeño and cayanne pepper.

Thanks for reading I hope this helps:D

.When ? Like what time do hens lay eggs? I heard in the morning?, but one of mine laid one in the afternoon late. I let them free range, but i try to keep them in the run till late afternoon? So they don't lay out side, i wont b able to find the eggs? So is it true? Most lay eggs in the morning

Wow is this some kind of riddle?

Hens lay eggs whenever they feel like it. And chickens free ranging will return to their nesting spots to lay as long as they are established at laying in the coop. I keep fake eggs in my nest boxes so the hens don't become confused. They sometimes go through stints hiding eggs, but fake eggs in the nest boxes really stops most outdoor laying

missnu01....!!!! i do that to, I keep fake eggs like they sell at the feed stores or even white golf balls, in the nesting boxes and I ALWAYS leave the coop door open, after i let them out in mornings, so they can come back to lay eggs when ever they wanted, that has always worked the best for my girls....!!! take care ...!
