I am about to treat my 5 chickens for mites with sevin-after reading here that this is the best treatment. My question is can we eat the eggs or should we toss them for a few days? I did not see anyone mention this. I also got the spray that was metioned for cats/dogs but since it is fairy chilly I was going to choose the dusting in a bag method. Any thoughts?

I belive they use seven on crops even but the waiting time on crops is to allow the stuff to wash/wear off. When I have to dust for bugs, I just wash the eggs off before use as the risk of residual will be greatest on the egg shell.
