eating dog poop?

When my hens grow up I'm planning on having them free range and the option of feed. in my front yard though, there is some dog poo which they wil probably peck at. is it safe for them to do so?

I can't imagine a little could hurt them They peck at everything on the ground, wild bird poop or large amounts of their own chicken poop (coccidia overload) would worry me more than a little dog poop.

Making sure the canine "pooper/s" don't hurt the chickens is probably far far more of a concern! I am a dog lover with several and I go to great lengths to keep the chicks safe from my own dogs.
