Can you eat duck eggs, and do how do they compare to chicken eggs?

Yes, you eat and bake with duck eggs. Eat'em like you would a regular egg. However, I will say that they are way better for baking than chicken eggs AND they have a richer flavor. We love them and prefer them over chicken eggs. Personal preference.

Duck eggs are delicious! I have a fried one every morning, thanks to my three runner ducks. They also make baked goods wonderful fluffy, rich, and golden colored. If you like ramen noodles, make some up and drop a lightly fried duck egg on top, then top with hot sauce - super yummy. Or poach one and put it over a spinach salad with bacon and a bacon dressing.

My family LOVES to eat them, scrambled, fried, anyway...I don't. I like them for baking though, they make amazing pastries and cupcakes and cakes

jbourget- is your post correct, is there less cholesterol in duck eggs and where did you get that bit of info?
