Eating Fertilized eggs

I ate a fertilized egg once and all I can say is . . .

Have you ever seen the movie "Aliens"?

Ok, so let me get this straight... ya'll are saying that if an egg has that little speck of blood in it, the egg is still ok to eat? I never was sure an have always thrown them away. The eggs I have gotten so far haven't had that but I was really wondering about it.

As my grandmother would "say I'm 92 and the colesterol hasn't killed me yet" The same could be said about eating fertilized eggs she always had a roo or two in with the hens. I dont think that little "EXTRA" is what killed her.

my neighbor who gave me my 2 new girls, lets his half adozzen or so freerange 100%... they just find someplace in the barn to lay. (they have to hunt for eggs every day)

anyway he has a roo and when i said i didnt need one, she said "oh you need a roo, a "complete" egg has much less colesterol than one that isnt fertilzed"

i went... oh ok...
