Eating their bedding.

Will do for sure haha. You can really see them coming in after they get wet from bath time. They almost look like they've been plucked lol but it's a cute look somehow hahaha. I've grown up around dogs, cats as well as horses and my god do ducks grow fastest of them all haha. Love these two the best decision I've ever made buying them. I'll post a pic tomorrow after bath time. So you all can see sorry I haven't been as active got a lot going on. Take care everyone.
Well we will enjoy the pics when ever you get them here. Life is busy that is for sure. Ducks and animals period do make us slow down some and enjoy all their antics. Can't imagine them not being in my life.

That's for sure. Got another question. When should I change the their food? I still have them eating the chick starter and I'm running out. Do I need to change their food and what should it be?

You can go to grower finisher or get an All flock and not have to change again. [Purina Flock Raiser is a good one.]

I took this just about 20 minutes ago haha. You can see where they are molting. Almost look scraggly haha. I was doing some research and I seem to possibly have a Aylesbury. Have any input on that matter?

Are you in the UK? If so then that is a good possibility. They sure are cute and have grown alot.

@Miss Lydia
No I'm in the US haha and yeah they have gotten huge. I have another problem though. One of them is opening it's bill almost like it's panting and then looks lol Ike it tries to peep but cant. I dipped it's bill in water thinking it's nostrils were clogged and that didn't help. And she keeps doing it. I'm scared she's got a small piece of her bedding stuck in her throat. Anything I can give them or do to try and help her out?

@Miss Lydia I have them now on Dumor Starter/Grower at 20% protein

Sorry @DuckMadness I am just seeing this. How is your duck doing? Maybe something stuck or it maybe too warm do you have a way to check temps in their brooder? Make sure your lil one can dunk it's head when it wants to and watch how it eats and drinks that should give you a clue as to whether there could be something stuck in it's throat.

I'd begin to cut the protein down in your feed you can do this by adding oats. You run the risk or angel wing when they begin to grow in the feathers so use Regular oatmeal not quick and just mix some into their feed every day say if you feed 2 cups of feed then add a fourth to half cup of oats.Make sure when you do this you offer chick grit in a separate bowl so they have something to help them grind up the oatmeal with.

Will do thank you. I also need help my duck seems to be coughing. I just got them new bedding and clean water and when she went to drink she started coughing. She quit coughing and went straight to the water but not they both are coughing. I don't know what to do.

Update on the coughing. I think we found the problem. I have their broader next to an air intake for my AC and Heat it has alot of dust on it. I think they got the dust and stuff stuck in their throats. So I have them a bath cleaned the dust off and waiting but they seem to be doing better already. It was like she was coughing and then ate whatever she coughed up
