Ok, I've always been happy selling on Ebay, but now that they have decided to hold Paypal for 21 days or until the buyer leaves postive feedback, I don't want to use them anymore. I have 100% positive feedback, but a lot of people don't mark the stars or whatever so any payments to me will be held until the buyer gives me positive feedback, the PO marks the package received, or 21 days pass. This is for all sellers not just me. If you are lucky enough to have those that mark the little starts as to how satisfied they are then you might get the percentage they need to release the money sooner. I'm sure glad I sold my stuff on here for my trip because I would have had it held and not had it available for my trip!

Is there an alternative to Ebay and Paypal??

WHAT????

I so need to pay more attention. Are you saying that if I buy something from you and I forget to leave feedback, then you dont get paid for 21 days?

Good lord. So they will be collecting interest off of what could be hundreds of thousands of dollars every day?

Thats quite a racket they have going...

Ughhhhhhh!

You got it! I was very upset about it. I found out about it because my artist friend sold a couple of things this week and got a notice from paypal that she needed to send the items right away, the money was being held until POSITIVE feedback was left, delivery confirmation could be proven, OR 21 days had passed. I thought it was a scam, it wasn't. You have to have a certain percentage and I can't think of the term they used, but was wasn't the feedback rating your see when you look at your profile. Her's, like mine, is 100% positive. But now when you leave feedback there is that area that asks if you were satisfied, would you order again from them etc, that is the one that you have to be at 95 or 100% of and no one ever marks those things!

I thought that was only for people that does not have at least 10 positive selling transactions.. It may have to be with in a month though. Not sure.. Havent sold there in awhile..

WOW! never knew this before. I only use ebay once in a while and then forget to leave feedback until I come back for something else - could be months! I'll have to make sure I do it right away. Better go check my account and see if I missed someone.!!

Are you sure? When I first started selling on ebay they did that, but after I was 'established' the holds ended. Have you been selling for a while?
