Eco Flake for Brooder?

Hello! I just started my first flock, and I’m hooked! Baby chicks are so much fun to watch! I got my chicks from a local farm store, I believe they are 1 week old, today. I currently have them on paper towels and shelf liner in their brooder. I was going to wait another week or so before adding bedding and I was wondering if anybody uses Eco Flakes? Is it ok for the chicks?

If the shavings aren't to fine, it will be ok. I couldn't find a decent picture to tell how big they are. I use the white bag from TSC for my brooder and coop.

Plain white shaving are sold in Bales like couple of cubic feet Welcome to Backyard Chickens you should be fine, not the Eco Flakes if they are pine please

I thought pine shavings were ok and cedar should be avoided?
