Just today I discovered that one of my chickens is infested with what I think is lice (small white specks.) She's been loosing a lot of feathers lately, and a closer inspection revealed little tiny white dots around the feathers.
I have a bottle of Ectiban D (Poultry and Livestock Dust) which I've been keeping around but never using. I read the instructions on the back, and it says that for poultry, it is directed at mites. But, here I have lice! I hear a lot of people using poultry dust, so by any chance, does it work on the lice? Or should I go out and get some Sevin dust or something else?
