Edging over $600 for my coop and run.

I'm actually considering building a new coop because of defects with the design and workmanship in the first coop (DH isn't exactly a handyman).

If we build a new one, it's likely to cost at *least* as much, since it's going to be somewhat reasonable, but still my "dream" coop. (meaning at least as much as my first coop--not Sue's tornado shelter!)

I stopped adding it up when we got to around $800. But I wanted something that would last, would work within all of the limitations of our yard and neighborhood, and most especially something that would not be an eyesore if we have guests over. As long as it doesn't mean the rent is unpaid or the groceries don't get bought, paying the price to make sure it's done right the first time is . . . well . . . priceless.
