Edible vine for chickens?

It may be a little late to plant, but I would like to plant some type of vine (fruiting if possible) to grow up the side of the chicken run. Something that would be perennial and add shade for them. They do free range, but it would be nice if they could grab a nip when they are penned in.
 
A lot of the ornamental vines are toxic, but grape might be a thought. Both the grapes and leaves are edible.

They are not perennial, but runner beans are edible and grow quickly. Luffa gourds and cuccuzi gourds grow quickly too.
