Editing widget is being really annoying...

I'm trying to edit my thread here https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/725937/the-legend-of-rainea-rp But I get a bunch of the color and text size codes and its a pain in the butt to do it. Is this a temporary glitch with the system or something?

Looks like the post was made in the Basic Format. When you click "Edit" you should have a note at the top that says "This is Basic Format content. You can convert it to Rich Format, but this is irreversible."

Will converting to rich format fix it? I found kind of a solution by editing with plain text and then adding the images, color etc but I won't always have the time to re-upload every single image on there.

I believe so. The color and text size codes are part of the Basic Text format, while in Rich Text all you do is push the button and it changes with no mess of brackets.
