EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Now that I can type I'll edit, didn't this happen earlier to someone? Had to restart my phone also.
Does this mean he sells? I have heard people with his birds, but checking his website in the past I see no selling?...

I don't know, I know a BYC member bought a trio of white jersey giants from him about three years ago

Hmmmmmm.... They'd already be in the freezer here. What benefit are they at this point - are they doing what you got them to do? (Bug patrol, right?)

- Ant Farm

I'm giving them over winter to sober up, but if they continue in their murderous ways and I start hatching again.... Wellll... I have a recipe!!

And no, they're not. They are terrified of the outdoors- the buggars.

What planet is that?... :)
That's what I'm saying though is I've bow hunted my whole life and never had a bow break... Now I've always had good stuff ... Parker / Matthews but yeah never had a failure yet.

Nice for a prepper bow that would be ideal..... Might need it after Tuesday..... :lau

I've never had a bow fail either, and have had some cheapies way back. Have a Diamond Outback right now 70lbs, supposed to be 330fps, hits like a sledge hammer.
Would like to get a recurve or longbow someday, see so much small game while deer hunting and would be a lot more forgiving on arrows. Arrows co$t to much to destroy them with a fast bow.

I really think the guineas would kill the littles given the chance... I have never seen such a total fixation upon beating up a chicken -i.e, even not moving away from their target when I nailed them in the rear, and these birds hate me- in anything but a dog.

Um, I hate to break it to you, but it really sounds like you should consider culling the now. Sounds like a miserable situation for everyone (even the guineas, it seems). Poor crazy things...

I have the littles penned, so crisis averted.... I am going to try running them out of the coop daily until they realize the outside is not terrifying and that they need to be OUTSIDE birds. As long as they have enough sense to get up in the trees, they should be safe.

They aren't too bad to the established flock.....

But yeah, I really am wondering if they need to go bye-bye for the sake of my flock.

The last 20 years i had to hunt with a kid bow.... I used a Parker Feather lite only a 50 lb draw.... But fassssst pricey too but I've never minded spending money on that kind of stuff cuz i keep them forever.... Now i hunt with a crossbow and tonight i realized i can't hardly pull it back either..... My shoulders are shot.

First time on this phone, maybe you gave me a virus? :-D
Weird.

Hope not.... :idunno

Often wondered about pulling those back. Do they have something that will do it for you. I don't hunt with either but it seems like they should.
