Hey folks! Happy Election Day! Been busy getting everything ready for winter. What's going on?

Hey Hippie! Missed you! not much! reminds me change of plans on the plantain, grass was cut ughh anyways the clear containers I got are for lip balm! so what do you think on making peppermint lip balm with kiddos and doing xmas gifts with them? good balm or bad balm?

Hi Banty! Thanks for thinking of me. Hugs to y'all. Been busy. Had the luxury of a broody hatch 15/15. Jerk cockerel that went after my son was processed so no pure Brabanters until spring. And we're buttoned up for winter. Hope all is well with everyone.

I am so glad you processed that sucker!! what did the broody hatch, will you get more Bras to get a roo?

I know my crazy life has been getting the best of me , only a couple more weeks and hopefully I'll be able to send more time on here I have alot to catch up on

FIL wraps each apple using only perfect one's for storage in some newspaper or cheap paper towels and fills a couple huge crocks (30gal crocks maybe?) he has. They last quite a long time.

Cool not freeing. I just know they can't be stored with potatoes which if not in soil should be wrapped in newspaper and not touching each other. I am just not sure of what apples need not to rot. Like hanging garlic.
