JOhn what I am thinking is to cut them in half, and stack with the rear closure with two openings, you could probably do a shelf in one section and make it two separate areas so in turn would make four pens for little quail trios, OR serama trios I know the spools pictured have a rather small top and bottom plate caps or whatever they are called, the ones I have seen here are much larger and would work better for what I have in mind. well in googling there are tons of sizes. Do you get what I am saying about the slicing in half?

Oh, I'm not plannin' on changing ma ways anytime soon, justa bit odd to see so many making fancy DIY waterers with automatic watering and heating while I'm perfectly happy with 1 gal rubber buckets.... Sorta wonder what I'm missin, ya know?oh sweets!! yer good!
