hey all-sorry for all the posts ive missed. in a lot of pain, kinda down in the dumps and too much stuff that needs to be done that i cant do
guess i will just rest as best i can. im just so restless and i dont like the cold
3rd day-rough. still one handed typing. just hurting tired and frustrated. going to try to get some sleep tonight and pray for healing ahead. wish winter would hold off a month-would make life easier
So sorry you're going through a rough patch in the recovery. You're in my thoughts.
When I injured my ankle badly and couldn't do a lot of things, I spent a lot of time on the sofa with my foot propped up and just schemed and read and schemed and read and schemed. And now I have chickens! Would reading help? (Or does it hurt too bad right now to concentrate? My scheming was only after the pain had subsided but I still couldn't do anything...) Just a random thought...
Awwww Dax. I wish I could reach right through the screen and give you a real hug. But here's an emoji one anyway.Life is frustrating sometimes. I have to go do a friend's chores tonight as well as mine. So at my last trailer pick up at 3:45 I have a flat necessitating that I wait for a repair man that is estimated at ninety minutes plus the repair. Then I have to drive an hour and forty five minutes back to the yard. Then twenty five minutes to her house at least forty five minutes of chores, then twenty five minutes to my house and forty five minutes plus of chores. Then my first pickup in the morning requires my to be in at 5:30-6 in the morning.
Why now???
I didn't get much done today after work (again with the getting dark early thing) - I barely had enough time to get the chicken waterers rinsed out before it was their bedtime. I wasn't going to take any vacation (except the holiday we already had), but when I saw my calendar was empty of meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday, I got everything done today and put in for those days off (a co-worker is covering). So tomorrow morning will start with some oak tree pruning, yard work, and maybe some lumber prep for that new coop... Oh, and the house is a mess, too. Gotta get that sorted - can't blame early darkness for that one.
