nice ! thank you, have you had personal experience with dexter as well as angus? Glad to see the dexter with horns, need horns on an ox to keep the head in the yoke on a downhill.

My experience is mostly with Angus and some Herefords. My nephew who raises Dexters has a farm near Carthage but I haven't been there.
I mentioned Dexters to my brother several years back and he told me his adopted son has them but that's all I know. I want to try to get down there to visit him and see the cattle too. Maybe if I get there before I butcher all these extra cockerels I can take one to Daxigait.

makes you wonder why they didn't choose something line the eagle instead? Maybe cause it was easier to catch a larger ground bird?

Plus eagles aren't Kosher.

we would all get banned eventually though, we can even do contests, who pees in there pants first, who spill the first drink and so on, we can take bets

They have had them for 2 or three years they have never slept in a house except for in the winter they would never go in they slept down by the road. And they have bought them many different houses for them they wouldn't use them and they couldn't catch them to put them in and they have even came and got our old dog house which if they still have it I am going to maybe go get it back and put a door on it for the ducks.

sounds like great fun!!! i need to start wrapping, then when my daughter starts snooping i dont have to worry about it
