I will have you know, I make an EXCELLENT fruitcake!!! And there's a reason that I was reminded while thinking of alcohol. Not only is all the dried fruit heavily rum soaked, but after it bakes, you spritz the loaves with brandy every day for several weeks. 

So cute!!!!!! I can't wait to have baby chicks again...

That's the plan. I actualy wanted some boys to grow out since I lost my readout nice one this summer and the new guy was a replacement that I found locally with no crest. I figure, maybe I'll get a half decent boy to use for breeding next spring/summer. I paired the new guy with my best crested girls.
