The doctor says my foot is broken in two places. So I guess I have to admit it's broken now. Have a boot and will follow-up with an orthopedic doctor next week.

Thanks!!!! I'm a bit frustrated with myself - it was all finished and clean, then I let it go for a year and a half while getting started in chickens (they sort of took up all my attention), and it's a lot more work to clear them. I could have at least planted proper cover crops... Thanks!!! Hard work, it is, but it's my own fault. So, do you think I have enough lemongrass? And I still have at least that much still left in the garden, needing to be cleared out of the end of one of the beds. It's in there like concrete. I actually BROKE one of my shovel on this stuff. NEVER in the ground again - only in pots from now on (I have several bits ready to go into gallon pots for propagation from this plant). Chicken People is interesting so far... I'll be interested in what other people think. - Ant Farm

From Chicken People - I do have to say, all I could keep thinking was...

Look at all those little tiny miniature chickens!!!!!!!

(I only have large fowl, no bantams.)

I can certainly see how it would be easier to maintain breeding cages, etc., with bantams.

You need a birdie like Jace... They are too sweet... My Sultan/bantam cross pullets are crazy sweet as well.

See this video, very good. Again. growing in a pot is the only way. Really suffering because I planted mine in the ground and it took over.
