Thanks guys it happens to everyone with chickens. I just wonder why it always happens to the good ones. There are 18 hens in that coop, and she was one of only three that would actually come near me. Of course.

To me they look like they were in the fridge and have condensation on them, they look like they still have the film (bloom? Right?) on them which would mean they haven't been washed.

Not sure I'd buy them either way. My first thought on them anyways.

Funny now...sort of. I can remember thinking how in the world am I getting out of this.

Wife had just walked over to mother in laws. I was able to get out before she came back into house.
