I just don't treat if I don't know exactly what I'm treating.

That may be why - in my lifetime - I've only wormed 2 birds, injected 2 with penicillin and gave one flock tetracycline.
I don't treat either. When a turkey had fowl pox - I did put eye ointment on his eye, but he was sicker than all the other birds and it was making his eye froth and the other birds were pecking at his bump. I just wanted to keep him from getting infected.
But short of that....... ^.^

I just don't believe in it without good cause and a real plan.
I think that's why we and other animals have immune systems.

What a difference 100+- miles makes. In the mid-30's here, sun shining. We had a skiff overnight, still way more green than white.

It is almost always a completely different climate on the east side of my house from the west.

Snow will melt quickly on the east and stay for weeks on the west. No matter how much snow, the yard on the east won't have any after a couple days.

That's the epitome of micro climates.

OK, aside from Vaseline for the future, is there anything I can do for this guy to help with the swollen waddles?

I would use an A+D ointment or aloe.
Did they get wet?
None of my roosters are showing any signs of temperature related comb or wattle issues. But I have huge windows so humidity never gets above ambient.

I have a hen that chooses to sleep in a building by herself. All the buildings are open and after foraging with the rest she puts herself up away from everyone else.
