Hi! No, no dogs. They require time, training, and attention to keep them happy and not destructive. I have no time, and what little I have I would rather be riding. Besides five days a week for twelve to fifteen hours a day I am not available.

Hi Dax, good points on the dogs. What age are meat goats processed?

Sorry I don't know. I sell mine either on Craigslist or the sale barn by about 10 weeks. This year the kids will pay to finish fencing the twelve acres, and after that I will sell them for feed money for the rest of my critters. With a quarter of a steer a year I don't need the meat right now.
