Okay, one question b4 I head out the door:
I have 7 pullets, hatchmates. 1 of them has been laying pretty regularly for a couple weeks; another one started several days ago, maybe a week. Nothing from the other 5 yet. Is that likely a result of the lack of daylight, or more a case of not maturing quite as quickly (like some children mature faster than others of the same age)?

Mine started at ever different times over a month last year when they were all the same age and type. This year too, but I had a lot of breeds. Some of the late March and April have still not started.
