I found this thread, for whatever it's worth. Some discussion on proper dose of aspirin - since she's no longer bleeding, I bet that would be ok. Dumbledore got Metacam as his prescription, FWIW. (Was not cheap, as I recall). I think it's supposed to be the one folks go to for bird pain control.

Of interest, though, Metacam is meloxicam. *I* am on meloxicam PRN by prescription (for my knee). Wow - I didn't realize. I'm totally going to look into how I might properly dose if I needed to use any of my pills...

The Aquarium sounds nice.
Dogs had yesterday off, not certain about next week, depends on how many other people will come out. Then back to it the 1st Saturday in January.

It should be fun once we make it there
