Hello everyone,
I have a quick question for you. I am trying to figure out approx what day/age this embryo i.
It is the only egg in my incubator,so unfortunately I don't have any others to compare it to.
After looking through the egg candling pic through progression it seems to me it may be around 12 days-13days.
Does anyone agree or disagree?




Before you ask, no I am a dufus, and have no idea when I put it in. I will say that it is from my favorite hen we lost awhile back, and then I realized I had some of her eggs in my fridge for about 2-3 weeks. So if it hatches we will name it Fridge.

lol I do this as well, I would say 12 13 yes just keep candling and when you see it starting to draw down lock it down up humidity good luck!!

well, just candled my eggs, they are looking pretty close to lock/down hatch.

Think I may have lost 2 more. 1 for sure is gone.. the other is a maybe. I put it back. We will see!

if I get a dozen to hatch, I'd be pretty shocked!

I'm down to 13? in the incubator with the iffy included.

I just started gently turning my geese eggs and was trying to do the math on when to lock down with them. I believe it will be the 9th of nov..

I am old enough to have been in Joe Ts when there were still chickens in the front yard and you walked through the kitchen to get to the back room seating, pulled your own drink out of the frig

We used to have family (large family + friends) birthday dinners there because it was cheap and informal. It is no longer either and it just don't feel right goin' in the front door!
