EDUCATIONAL INCUBATION & HATCHING CHAT THREAD, w/ Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs

Somewhat, but I am disappointed you did not remember the breeds, I think you were not paying attention..

Also I have Pre-cracked eggs for sale. These are naturally cracked by mother nature. They can be hatched and the Mother nature installed crack will allow the chick to leave the egg faster, or you can cook with them and not have to expend any energy cracking those hard bulky shells.

No human hand cracked these eggs, 100% natural cracks.   a buck and egg is all, shipping and handling is extra.

BTW by looking ahead at the forecast it appears I will only have these MotherNature cracked eggs available for the next 2 weeks! Hurry and order now....

So not a presale but an honest to goodness sale of naturally cracked eggs. I've been waiting all year for this. :lau

In the natural stone business we call cracks a fissure it may help your sales if you would consider that.

That's a great idea, but many people do not like fissures in their eggs.

It's actually left from the summer, the only green thing out there. I thought it was a big weed, but when I wiggled to loosen the roots it was orange!

They're supposed to be sweeter after a frost?

Also we have like 290 growing days, according to the almanac.

Where are you? We have somewhere around 266 or so frost free days (though if I counted all the days after a frost so far it'd be almost 3 more months.)

Southwest Louisiana. Growing zone 9.

For sll the members that are interested in the history of WW2.
I actually visited the teeny cave that the other guy on Guam lived in for so long. He didn't even know the war was over...

uggggg sorry Kristin, were those air cells bigger when you first set them?
The have done studies on putting paraffin on part of eggs to control weight loss, as well as adding cotton balls, about the only thing I will suggest is putting them in some sort of container or adding something to block the fans air on them for now.
Thanks - no they weren't. I've got them at 67% (highest I can get at the moment), and I'm just going to leave it for now. We'll see what happens. (shrug)

Arthritis (at least I guess that's what it was) is what caused me to quit decorative leather carving; hands hurt using the knife.
For 6 months or more after Shingles hit my right hand & arm, I couldn't even write my own name; had to make an "X" whenever I had to sign anything. Even today it can be pretty sloppy.
yes, and you know when the temp falls below 30 I hurt so bad, joints and into ma bones, last night I had a rough night, really rough night, the wind and cold, its strange how it can be 70 inside and I still feel it in my bones, the only relief is hot bath and thats temp. I miss my hottub big time

One of my GNH girls laid this 90g eggs today (3.17 oz). Astonishingly, all three were walking normally.

I am miserable, because, well, it's cedar fever season. Everyone's miserable.

Texas Monthly put it best:

"The signs are unmistakable: The eyes burn and turn fiery red; the nose runs; the insides of the ears itch. Incessant sneezing—up to two or three hundred times a day—leaves some victims exhausted. On top of this, an insidious malaise sets in, making it hard to do anything but stare vacantly at the wall, while at the same time a nagging little voice says, “Get up. It’s just an allergy.” But cedar fever is not just any allergy. It’s a scourge, a plague that smites the just and the unjust who have the misfortune to live anywhere in a broad strip of Central Texas that stretches from the Red River to the Rio Grande."

In case you were wondering why:

So, to sum up...
