Blooie!! How's Kendra and the gang?

Kendra is doing fantastic, thanks! She's in regular preschool 4 days a week and is absolutely thriving. Kids just love her....they each get a turn at being her "helper" and get to push her wheelchair from activity to activity, give her things she can't reach, and they all line up to say goodbye to her - one at a time - at the end of the day. She loves it - waves and giggles and tells them "bye" too! Surgery has healed up well, and it's working just as we'd hoped it would. Cathing her that used to take 20 minutes to half an hour now takes 3 minutes. Oh, yeah!

Evan and Katie are great. Katie is loving her Silkies, even though we ended up hatching a few roos out the batch. Yokel is laying nice big brown eggs (so much for an olive egger, huh?) and the Crested Legbar we hatched had to go into the freezer. That made me sad, but it is what it is.

We lost so many of them here so sad, and same time as the beautiful hemlocks

It really is sad the drought weakens them and then beetles kill them then fire. Bad combo
