@ChickenCanoe Thanks for the link. Do you have a recipe or link for what you do with bumble foot?

Good morning!!!! Lots to do today, needed that coffee!!!![]()
You got some good advice, I think. So I'll just offer healing vibes.Good morning Chaos and Abi.
Yes, the sweet potato will take over a panel if you start it on it.v Then they get bigger, more prolific, and take up less space. I got a lot of normal ones when I did it and several as big as my size ten and a half shoe. Much better than just left to cover ground.
Good morning everyone. Any advice on my pullets wing?![]()
Awwwwww..

Last night/this morning, I dreamed that someone was in my backyard with two huge afghan hounds unleashed, just "looking" at my chickens because she was curious. I woke up when I started yelling and screaming at her, because one of my chickens had gotten - a Buff Orpington cockerel - and a dog was following her. (Not that I have any Buff Orpingtons...) Good grief - what a way to wake up!!!! (Yes, I checked, no one was in my yard.)
OK, so here's the thing. I know my chicks are just shy of a week old, but one of the Marans/Amer cross chicks is in there CROWING!!!! I SWEAR to you - seriously! I have had chicks (CCLs) that crowed as early as 2-3 weeks before, so I know what a baby crow is. How is that possible?!?!?!(If it is a crow, I guarantee it got it from grandfather Marans - some of the Marans brothers of these pullets crowed very early - they were also a handful.)![]()
Woke up with a carpal tunnel flare (the price one pays for cutting all that HW cloth). I'm going to get some things done on the computer, then back to finishing those brooders. Then maybe I can get that little bugger and his friends into a bigger brooder and out of here. (It's getting crowded...)
(Hmmmmmm.... I wonder what the minimum order of Welshies ducklings is...)
