GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE! I HOPE EVERYONE'S WEEKEND BLEW THEM AWAY!

Mmmm, good morning gorgeous! Thanks for the Starbucks!

Prayers & best wishes going out to all the folks in the South who got hit with the tornadoes yesterday.

That wasn't exactly what I meant when I said the lights would go out in Georgia

It was a VERY long weekend down here. The people across the pond from me lost their storage building and their trampoline is in my pond! A tornado went right down the street our church is on, the church is fine, but several homes on that street were ripped apart. No injuries reported in that area. Several of my kids that I teach in children's church had damage to their homes (one lost their roof, another their storage shed blew into their garage). My daughter and I were at the grocery store when a tornado watch came up, they wouldn't let us leave the grocery store, apparently there was a tornado about 5 miles down the road that had touched down. I'm just glad it seems to be over for now! I am NOT a fan of bad weather. I don't even like thunderstorms.

Ralphie, if you're willing to try something else first, maybe try giving them cat kibble (or better yet kitten kibble) - one where meat is in the first three ingredients. That could stop it. Just a thought. @duluthralphie

Good morning all. I am NOT bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning. I feel like I'm dragging on the ground. I think the only motivation I'm going to have to get or and feed the birds is counting babies under my broody to see if any more hatched overnight lol. I'm TIRED!
Me, too. Totally draggin' today, and woke up with an "almost" migraine (the beginnings of something that could turn into one). Took meds, hoping it won't.

Heavy fog here..... Got a long drive to get to Munising this morning..... Gonna be a slow drive.... Hope the fish are biting.....

Morning..

I have been busy already today designing a new roll-away cage for my egg eaters.

I am going to heed @Akrnaf2 's advice. The egg eaters will never free range again. I need their eggs, these are my show birds and mot my layers. If these were layers they would already be resting comfortably in the freezer or oven.

I do not want them teaching the rest of the birds. I will keep them in the cages and let them have congenital visits with the rooster once a week. The Rooster will never be free again either. I think they learned this habit at a Show in November. I had no problems before that and it has been a problem since.

Here is this mornings "through the glass" photo into the hatcher

Toads and a cuckoo Maran in the front section, Dominiques and Yokohamas in the middle section and in the far section we have Speckled Sussex and Legbars.
Congrats on ongoing hatch - keep those photos coming. Regarding the egg eating, see above - consider cat kibble...

Well my ducks don't seem to have it on as well as the chickens did, 11 clears and what looks like a quitter leaving 22 good eggs. But the rest seem to be going strong!

Sorry about the clears, but Go Chickies!!!

Quote: I didn't, but the rain blowing in under the porch roof got the towel all wet. I had to wait for the rain to stop, then let the wind blow-dry me.
OMG, I really didn't need that mental image this morning...

Good morning! I know I said that once airway but I went back to bed and just woke back up again lol.

I really wish I could do that... (Haven't had broodies before, so I'm not sure I can answer your question well...)

I gotta run. This migraine seems to be triggering some dizziness/inner ear stuff for me. If it doesn't settle down, I'm not going to be safe to get up under that roof panel to get it fixes later this evening...

At least you weren't hit and you're safe.
