Halleluiah....
@ChickenCanoe Have a blast. My friend keeps stressing about the bears in Yellowstone. My response is similar to yours. I will be careful, but I could die driving my semi any time. I want to do some living life is risky.
Hopefully my son can take some. My camera and my phone camera are dead.Make sure to take pictures mid-aerials![]()
I hope you don't kill them either. Don't do any of the things you know kills them.I opened it really quick and swapped two eggs out just got a silkie egg an a egg from my frizzle.I don't have any tubing so I will have to open it to add water.I am trying two of the troughs the first 18 days this time I hope I don't kill them like that
You're spreading yourself pretty thin.Got another new fish today male guppy.
Don't hatch pullets first eggs.yes that's why I did it today.there first eggs i hope they hatch.no not 45.

I've encountered mountain lions, jaguars and bears. It isn't the end of the world. Just the possibility of such.
Hippos are more dangerous.
Hopefully my son can take some. My camera and my phone camera are dead.
I hope you don't kill them either. Don't do any of the things you know kills them.

Don't hatch pullets first eggs.
I rest my case on not wanting to watch the same movie again.
So you're telling us they're all inaccurate.

Quote: I think you might be right, the coffee didn't work today.
Fun, my snow came and left mud.I apologize to those that didn't want the snow to actually come, and/or stick. I bought a new sled last night. I know we haven't gotten the snow here that they've been predicting. Well, I had a feeling this time was for real!
23 minutes of bliss before she began wailing. It just hit her suddenly.![]()
The dog was chasing the birds around. He must have figured they needed to warm up!

Hi Mr. Biggs!Good late morning to all the happy peppy chickie people of the world! I'm excited to start incubating again, just waiting for eggs to come...
I ordered 1 doz Sulmtaler and 1 doz Bielefelder, I love that barred crele coloring they have. I have a bantam crele roo named Mr Biggs, but I like to sing to him "Mr big stuff, who do you think you are"

Pretty at your place.
Have fun!I'll likely be incommunicado after tomorrow morning.
I'm unplugging for a few days and I'll be back Monday. Not long enough.
Hopefully the snow will be good. Base depth of 50-60 inches where we're going. Wish we were heading to Wolf Creek. The base there is 132"
No new snow predicted through Thursday. First snow will probably be Saturday. Praying for new fresh powder.
Sounds like a nice place to live.Well, I stopped by our Amish neighbors on the way home from dropping our farm truck off to get new ball joints installed. There's 550$ we'll never see again. Louis sells 50 pounds of black oil sunflower seeds for 18 dollars while everyone else in town sells them for over 20$ and we really enjoy talking to him and his sons. We learn all the local gossip from the Amish POV, like they had a predator hunt last weekend and over a hundred guys managed to eliminate 27 coyotes, one bobcat and 2 red fox from the food chain. His son, knicknamed Ginger is in charge of the farms small animals and I deal with him about eggs. The young man came riding in on a little strawberry roan pony that was just tall enough that his feet didn't drag on the ground. I told him he could almost walk along with the little guy and he proceeded to pitch a sale at me regarding the pony. Broke to drive. Good shoes, gentle, 3-4 yrs old 500 dollars and he'd throw in a harness for him.
I just kept thinking about those blasted 550$ ball joints for the car.
He's going to have eggs for me in about two weeks so that will give me time to get the Brinsea calibrated as far as humidity is concerned-do a final temp check while I'm working with humidity and I'll be good to go.
I also got a freshly dressed rabbit from him for freezer camp. Can't beat that. Bunny went from the pen to a grocery bag in 10 minutes. Dressed out clean as a whistle. Now that's fresh.
I may or may not have found some Jubilee Orpington's pretty local and not costing an insane amount of money.![]()

Yup - power came back on mid morning. Then the electrician came, dug around and searched, took out some fixtures to look up in the space where the sparks came from. The breaker to the outdoor lights on that corner of the house had flipped and the wires were not hot. He also said there was a black cord up there that almost looked like an extension cord (wouldn't surprise me!) - also dead. Leaving the breakers flipped off, and he said it's all safe and there's nothing there to be concerned about. (He also found a wasps nest in the can light, so that was fun.)
Oh, and the charge? $0.![]()
Glad your power came back on. Great price for he electrician, and it sounds like you are safe.
Congratulations!Got another new fish today male guppy.

No pics of the process. Pics of the chicks? Not yet - I'll get weights and pics tomorrow for the 3 week weigh in.![]()
But my mother sent me this - a photo of me at 4 years old feeding chickens - it's hard to see the chickens, but that's me alright. That was my favorite dress at that age. (I have no memory of this, but I was apparently destined to keep chickens.)
